General
Tuesday, November 4
7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Bring your ID.
Register to Vote
1. Download the voter registration form here
2. Send it to:
Office of the County Clerk,
Kalana O Maui Building,
200 South High Street, 7th floor,
Wailuku, Hawai`i 96793.
3. Be sure to bring your ID when you vote. And be sure you are registered by Oct. 6th.
Absentee Voting

Anyone can vote by mail (absentee) and it is sometimes easier and more reliable.
Absentee ballot applications will be accepted until October 28, 2008 for the General Election.
Early Walk-in Voting
You don't have to wait for Nov 4th to vote. You can go to the County Clerk's office in Wailuku and vote early from October 21 through the November 1st .
General Election Walk-in absentee voting is available at three locations in Maui County. The locations and hours are:

Office of the County Clerk, seventh floor of the Kalana O Maui Building, Wailuku; 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
- Lahaina Civic Center; 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
- Mitchell Pauole Center, Kaunakakai; 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.
Nov 1 is the last day for walk-in absentee voting, with voting to end at 3 p.m. at the Lahaina and Kaunakakai polling sites.
Bring your photo ID.
